And honestly, it’s work but it’s going great.
This isn’t a cathartic “my life is a struggle right now because of my dog post”. In all sincerity, this puppy has made pandemic life so much lighter. It’s all true what they say about dogs: they really are the ultimate companion. But I’m not going to lie, this puppy has been work, and has taught me a lot. It’s taught me a lot of discipline, the importance of healthy structure, and the essential “potty outside” command. Haha!

And yes the money’s great. And yes the perks in tech are great. And yes its fast-paced and you learn a lot.
But no matter how much success I find in sales, I get little to no respect for being in sales.
Not that respect or approval from others matters. But it baffles me that such a grinding, relentlessly demanding job receives such little recognition from professionals in other areas.
